Zeina M. Barakat received her Ph.D. from Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany. She is the Executive Director and the Academic Coordinator of the European Wasatia Graduate School for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies at Europa Universität Flensburg (EUF), Germany, and a Research Associate at the Von Hügel Institute-University of Cambridge (UK). She is the author of Heart of Stone to Heart of Flesh: Evolutionary Journey from Extremism to Moderation (Munich: Herbert Utz Verlag GmbH, 2017).
