Wasim Almasri is a third-generation Palestinian refugee, born and raised between Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. He studied information technology in Chicago before moving to Gaza to work for the International Committee of the Red Cross. Wasim worked with civil society and international institutes in Ramallah on projects aimed to develop practices of democracy and transparency for the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. He has over 10 years of experience in cross-border and civil society work with a focus on grassroots, alumni, and leadership program development. Before joining the ALLMEP team, Wasim served as the Director of Communications for the OneVoice Movement in Palestine.
