John Levy is the director of The Academic Study Group on Israel and the Middle East, an educational charity which sends speakers to audiences actress the UK promoting an informed and analytic understanding of Israel and the Middle East. John is also the senior Trustee of the UK branch of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
Our Voice of the Fortnight is “The Lachish Story”, a film from the Steven Spielberg Archive at Hebrew University. The film shows Moroccan immigrants’ journey from France to Israel in the early years of statehood, and the adjustment of one family to life in a moshav in the Lachish region.
