Grant Rumley is a research fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies where he focuses on Palestinian politics and Amir Tibon is the Washington D.C. correspondent for Haaretz. They have co-authored a book titled The Last Palestinian: The Rise and Reign of Mahmoud Abbas (Prometheus Books, 2017).
Our Voice of the Fortnight is “The Lachish Story”, a film from the Steven Spielberg Archive at Hebrew University. The film shows Moroccan immigrants’ journey from France to Israel in the early years of statehood, and the adjustment of one family to life in a moshav in the Lachish region.
