This was our first time at the campground and we really enjoyed our stay. It was only a 5 minute walk to the water from our campsite to watch the sun go down over New Bern, which was our favorite part of the campground. We stayed in a patio site, had no problem getting level and content had enough room to spread out a bit. The KOA also offers bike rentals, kayak rentals and paddleboat rentals to take advantage of the water. In this video, we show you the amenities the campground offers - both for kids and adults! Plus a close up of the laundry and bath houses. Then we give a tour of the campground for the layout visit this backlink and close up of the campsites. We always like these types of review videos so we can see what the campsite looks like that we are interested in and how close it may be to other sites in the park. We have a video on some must do's in the town of New Bern plus we took day trips to Beaufort and the beach and fort at Fort Macon near Morehead City. And while we couldn't go see the wild horses on this trip, we did take a day trip to Cape Lookout where you would pick up the ferry to take you to the outer banks.
