In MacamTV they are created to inspire film-makers through my unique ideas and to show them how much audience wants to see it happen through my trailers. ►How do you make it clear its fan trailer not official? Most fan trailers don’t have good reputation because they aren’t clearly labeled. At MacamTV, we set a good example by marking ours as fan made in the title and beginning/end of the video, while avoiding studio logos so viewers know they’re unofficial. The goal is to restore the true spirit of fan trailers, as fun, creative showcases of dream movies. ►Is this trailer inspired by a real movie coming soon? To add some nostalgia I put the Miyagi Do theme while the two Miyagi students have a moment. Then act 2 Julie reveals her motive which is to take over Miyagi Do, claiming she has been chosen by Miyagi. Cobra Kai has always been one of my favorite franchises to work on here at MacamTV, and every time I make a trailer for it, my passion and love for the story shines through. With this fan-made Season 7 trailer, I wasn’t trying to push for another season, since the show already had a perfect ending. Instead, my goal was to inspire the idea of continuing the Cobra Kai/Karate Kid saga in some new form—whether that’s a Miyagi-Do spinoff or another creative take on the universe. The plot I built around it focuses on Miyagi’s former student, Julie Pearce, stepping into the story as the antagonist. Armed with legal documents from Miyagi himself, she claims rightful ownership of the dojo, setting up a high-stakes challenge. That forces Daniel to lean on Johnny once again, and together they prepare to face Julie’s new dojo in an ultimate tournament showdown. What made this project really exciting was blending that classic Cobra Kai energy with the right music. The series has always thrived on its 80s-inspired vibe, so I wanted the soundtrack to feel like it came straight from that era while still hitting with cinematic impact. After searching and experimenting with different tracks, I finally found the perfect one that captured the retro spirit and gave the trailer the intensity it needed. That energy is what ties the story, fights, and emotions together, making the trailer not only a fun fan project, but also a tribute to one of my favorite franchises—and a hopeful spark for whatever comes next in the Cobra Our Web Page Kai legacy.
