Why? Well, we’re one of the remotest islands on Earth – a place of uninterrupted nature. Of safety. A subtropical paradise in the midst of the South Atlantic Ocean. Our population is just over 4,000. Before we got an airport in 2017, the only way to get here was a five-day ship voyage from South Africa. St Helena is truly unlike anywhere else on Earth.
