Country: United States, Australia, United Kingdom. City: Bridgeport, Cape Coral, Jacksonville, Miami, TulsaMy name is Rob Shauf and today we're drawing 4 panel COMIC STRIPS! This exercise is super fun. For easy mode, we all start with the same first panel stick-person style. Then everybody comes up with the next three panels to finish the story/joke! so please, ONLY copy the first panel, the rest come up with yourself For medium mode, take those stick-person drawings and sketch out a more detailed dig this character in the same poses. For hard mode, ink, erase, and colour it in! VOILA- a comic strip. Note that I use the term "thumbnails" quite a bit. When laying out a larger comic project, like a short story or a graphic novel, it's useful to lay out small versions of the pages with panels and general idea of where the characters and speech bubbles will go- what we do in easy mode isn't strictly-speaking 'thumbnails' because we made them large on the whole page. That's just for the ease of this activity. If you drew along, I'd LOVE to see what have a peek at this web-site you came up with! Email me at [email protected] or tag me in social media.
